It’s not undeniable that Aaliyah had a huge impact on our culture. Today marks her 40th birthday. It’s been 17 years since she passed. As my favourite artist of all time I get pretty emotional thinking about where she would fit in today’s society.

We are still inspired by her Jazz personality & G mentality. So much cool effortless looks. She was able to be soft & subtle while being a whole tomboy rocking Tommy Hilfiger men’s collection.

She was so ahead of the fashion game and not knowing it inspires me & many others.
